Landgoed De Denneboom
Embrace the nature
De Denneboom estate, according to tradition an ancient Celtic sanctuary, which the current residents use as a community-oriented center for connection with nature, where Yoga is central. Yoga is a state of being, an identification with nature. As inside, so also outside. Yoga as a path of inner growth & flourishing gives us tools to bring our inner world into harmony with the outer world by increasing our access to consciousness. Through simple exercises that can be applied in daily life.

Timeless knowledge & practice, for today's time. Adapted to the unique individual & tailored to the unity of the collective. We are all at different stages of our development. The center therefore offers space for a wide range of activities that can bring us into contact with nature.
The residents
'We are Nik & Keri'
Both curious with a love for nature & culture. After many voyages of discovery, we came into contact with the culture surrounding Yoga. In recent years we have delved into various forms of traditional knowledge surrounding Yoga & Ayurveda. This gives us tools to create balance in body and mind and optimize their functioning.
We have followed various courses in traditional yoga (hatha / asthanga). In our classes we use Asana (body exercises), Pranayama (breathing techniques), Mantra (chanting) & meditation exercises in a way that it is accessible without previous experience.

The focus is on increasing our awareness through different poses and exercises, where we relax on a deep level while we observe what is moving on a physical & mental level.

Nik: ‘My greatest expansion came from complete surrender & complete relaxation of the nervous system.’

Nik & Keri both trained from the Kaivalyadham Institute, Lonavla, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. Founded by Swami Kuvalayananda in 1924, this is one of the oldest yoga institutes in the world. Where the principles and philosophy of Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga are followed and we proudly teach traditional yoga in its purest form, with a unique perspective.
Kaivalyadhama is the first yoga institute to proactively conduct scientific research to demonstrate the benefits and applications of yoga. We apply this knowledge to provide holistic wellness and spread yoga wisdom worldwide.
